Hi guys, I stopped entering comps on Facebook about 2 years ago, but now considering going back , since it appears that most comps are on FB.
The main reason why I stopped years ago was that quite a lot of companies offering prizes didn't notifiy the winners or even tag them..Is it still the same now, or have things got better? xx

Hi,
I've never had any problems with Facebook competitions, in fact I have won most of my prizes on Facebook. Usually the winner will be tagged in a winner's post or tagged in the comments, and you will get a notification of this. X11 wins in August 2019 :j Thanks everyone x

In my experience of (admittedly not too many!) FB wins, the companies have responded to my comment so I received a notification.
Once my name was just typed by the company in a new status and not tagged - but fortunately kind fellow compers @'d me so I was eventually made aware.
Hope that helps0 -
I'd agree with previous posters. I've won quite a few times off Facebook and received notification and prizes really quickly. I've only had one issue with a company that mentioned me as the winner but I didn't receive notification. I found out by chance and tried to contact them many times via email and Twitter as well as Facebook over a couple of months but never even got acknowledged by them so I just wrote it off. The prize was small and it just didn't seem worth pursuing. With that in mind I do think that Facebook companies can sometimes be harder to contact if things do go wrong but in my experience this is very rare.0

There's also a website called social searcher https://www.social-searcher.com/ - you could type your name every now and then to see if anything comes up you might have missed.
Although sadly not much use if your name is John Smith or anything popular! x0 -
i've had to keep reading notifications as they don't always properly tag winners in competitions, and, don't inbox you, but wait for you to contact them.0
