pension split fees on divorce

Post divorce and a defined benefit pension is to be split 50/50. I am paying the trustee costs which are around £2500.
Should I pay this cost out of my ISA savings or should I ask for fees to be deducted from pension value ?
Thank you.

You've already had tax relief on your pension contributions. Use those to pay the costs and then top up your pension savings by £2,500 (if necessary from your ISA, and assuming you have scope to top up) and get another round of tax relief.0
