Where can I buy 'Moving House Boxes'

Does anybody know where I could buy a single cardboard box, like the ones the house moving folk use. Maybe some high street or DIY stores sell them
These measure 40 x 50 x 60cm
I saw two house moving companies today, so stopped and asked ... neither had any.
I know I could buy on Ebay but I need quite urgently, having just sold a large item. Initilly it was listed as collect only but I accepted a good offer from a buyer down south.
thank you

If you've access to Facebook, put a shout out on there. Say the size roughly you're looking for. Many people have a few lurking they always intend to turf out but never get round to it.
Failing that.... Argos, collect at Sainsburys or Argos. That way you go and get them and you know you have them ... none of this "waiting for a delivery" malarky.
Shops do sell them.... but you might be 100 miles from shops people list
Ikea sell some .. but you might be 100 miles from there.
Office/stationery firms sell them (e.g. the likes of Staples etc).0 -
Head for any large supermarket and ask for a cardboard box of about that size - they'll be only too pleased for you to take it away.0
-
We get them for free from the couriers, although our local Lidl had some in stock0

Aldi gave me fruit and veg boxes for about a week leading up to my move. I got a whole stack each day.Warning: any unnecessary disclaimers appearing under my posts do not bear any connection with reality, either intended, accidental or otherwise. Your statutory rights are not affected.0

go round the supermarkets/DIY sheds and ask for free boxes. They may have already flattened them ready for recycling but easy enough to rebuild oneYou're not your * could have not of * Debt not dept *0

Freegle and freecycle are also worth a look. People who have just moved house are often only too happy to get rid of boxes.0

Safestore sells packing materials - some of it is ridiculously expensive, though.
Aldi/Lidl always have boxes to get rid of (you are doing them a favour by taking them away).
If you have a Bunnings Warehouse/Homebase nearby, they provide a stack of boxes by the checkout.0 -
Another shout for facebook, where are you I have loads.0

ASk the fruit and veg staff specically in Tesco, for Banana boxes, they are really sturdy, easy to carry, easy to stack.
They don't do so well in the crushers so tesco are happy to give them away.0 -
Our Local Morrisons pile up banana boxes by the tills. Free and really sturdyYou're only young once, but you can be immature forever0
