best way of using my clubcard points anyone?

does anyone have suggestions for the best way to use my clubcard points? i got my bonus points for the life assurance added late, missing the feb mailing and therefore missing the deadline for using clubcard vouchers for the annual tussauds pass. i paid full price for 2 passes, and now have over £60 in vouchers with my may statement, wondering if i can exchange them for a deal that will sell better than the points alone? i'm 160 overdrawn since buying the passes and was hoping i could sell these vuochers to go some way towards paying that off ... anyone know which deals vouchers are most popular?

Beware of selling them on ebay, there is a thread on the ebay forum...

buy tickets for legoland on the clubcard deals, once through, ebay them.
Come the kids holidays in august you wont be short of takers.0 -
i hadn't thought of legoland, thanks! i thought of alton towers tickets but ebay is flooded with 2 for 1's, people selling the information about getting in free with gnomes, nun costumes etc. so i think full tickets would be lost in a sea of offers and vouchers, buyers wouldn't see them. i had planned to use mine to buy alton towers tickets and take a load of people there for my son's birthday but he'd prefer to go to the waterpark, and you can't use vouchers for that - doh!52% tight0

why not exchange for mfi and do lilypie's nursery??
or just go into your store and buy loads of baby bargins0 -
we won't need any furniture - the 'nursery' is going to be a moses basket on top of a cupboard for the time being
i didn't realise it would take 9 months to get a house extension built and still not have the building regs sorted or a definite quote from a builder - baby will be old enough to move out by the time he gets a bedroom :rotfl: good point though, once the extension is built we will need a couple of things. just looked at the vouchers, valid until 2007

you never know baby might be building the extention............. lol
the council don't rush0 -
neither do builders, it seems they're all busy enough and don't want the work - bah! the architect told us to allow 6 weeks for the council to approve the building regs but the builders just laughed when we said that. ho hum ... how long can a baby live in a drawer?

butlins might be an idea, if i hang onto the vouchers for a while. we've never been to a butlins. or disneyland paris perhaps? i've never really shopped at tesco but they just built a new one, it has almost everything we hunted for and their petrol is the same price as everywhere else but with points. i wonder how many points i can build up in 2 years?52% tight0 -

i would not waste the vouchers on butlins we went the last week of april for £70 and i have just booked for sept 19th £103 that is based on 4 adults in standard self catering..0 -
i hadn't realised they did cheap deals, thanks :-) i mentioned haven to hubby tonight and he said don't use the clubcard vouchers as haven are always doing cheap deals too, through the sun or their website.
i'm feeling very skint at the moment, i'm tempted to just use them for next weeks shopping but that would be silly ... still looking on ebay for the best way to sell them on, might have to be patient and wait for the rush to die down ... although i think hubby has his eye on drayton manor park entry tickets when their new ride opens
if they sent these out in may am i right in thinking the next mailing won't be until august, and people will be looking for theme park vouchers or clubcard deals at the end of july/start of august? my may vouchers didn't arrive until may 27th i think, so maybe the august ones will be equally late and there will be a market for theme park tickets, maybe even alton towers ones.52% tight0
