Most Effective (& economical) Plug-in Air Freshener

Folks
As a new dog-owner - Puppy lives in the house - can anyone please recommend the most effective (& economical) Plug-in Air Freshener?
Something that won't make the house smell like a Florists
but will counter (not just mask) any dog odour.
If that is not possible, something that is economical to replace with respect to refills with a pleasant but not over-powering smell (see note above).

I find Oust to be the best at actually clearing the smell away rather than just masking it. I've only seen it in spray cans though, not a plug-in.
