Leeds Building Society mortgage process?

Have applied for a mortgage (via broker) with Leeds Building Society.
We had the AIP weeks before we reserved a shared ownership property.
The broker has informed us that Leeds approved the full application pending successful valuation.
As we are buying a new build we have only 28 days to get to exchange - so we’ve gone ahead and instructed solicitor for fear of losing the house altogether.
I am aware that our mortgage could be declined, but does anybody know when we are likely to have our offer letter if it’s accepted?
Submitted application on 4th July and received acceptance pending valuation on the same day. I am just concerned as they haven’t been in touch at all and 5 days have passed! We are set to exchange 9on 28 July
Thanks in advance
