Have today received a mail offer for a loan for xmas from Provident personal credit.Having read about similar companies in the past i checked to see what the APR was.Believe it or not its 183.2% and yes the decimal point is in the right place.I was pleased to note however they promise "no hidden costs" so thats all right then.

My estranged father - honestly not seen him in about 15 years works for these and he somehow signed my sister up she has no idea what she has let herself in for she gets £50 of vouchers and over six months it costs her £67.50 - I told her she was silly she could go on the high street and buy them for cheaper. Also it will now show on her credit report the lowlife she is dealing with goodness knows what her bank will think next time! Bet they try it on with higher rates!
