Thanks for the fab ideas my hamper shopping lists are coming together nicely now!! LOVE the recipe book idea for my MIL - I will buy a nice little notebook and write recipes in it, both in English and French. Will help both our language skills!!

mrs beetons recipie books can be found cheaply on amazon or in past times and are very traditional english recipies!
Our uncle runs an english restaurent in Holland and faves there are sponge puddings (hienz do tinned ones) and custard.

For liverpool stuff (and any team actually) sports world or diadora shops have loads for pennies!
