PS2 Bundles - any good offers?

THAT'S IT! I admit defeat. After trawling the internet for a basic Wii sports package and now scouring a rather large shopping centre, I cannot find one anywhere.
Sooooo the Wii is being put to one side until early next year and instead I would like to get my children a PS2 as they've really come down in price.
Can anyone recommend a great bundle offer?

If you can, look into getting a used/refurbished one. They're really cheap, and if you buy from a retailer like Game or Gamestation they'll come with a warranty (probably one year). You'll be saving money and landfill space!
We just bought a PS2 with two controllers and four games for £50 at Gamestation. The games were pretty old, and the PS2 was the older style (not slimline) but it all works and we've tucked it into our telly cabinet so you can't really see what it looks like most of the time.
I think you can order online from Gamestation, but their website seems to be playing up at the moment so I'm not sure. It's here, anyway: http://www.gamestation.co.uk.
Game doesn't have preowned PS2s on their website, but they do have some new bundles:

Just seen an advertisement for a new PS2 at Play.com for £69.99
Might have been on MSE or HOTUKDEALS ... not sure which.
http://www.play.com/Search.aspx?searchtype=PS2&searchstring=console&page=search&pa=search&go.x=0&go.y=0
They also have a few good bundles on.
I'm on the lookout for a singstar bundle for my daughter ... (great party entertainment if Karaoke is your thing)
Argos then have a couple of Singstar CD's at half price at the moment as well.
Hope it helps. :beer:0 -

I've just got one second hand (but like new) from Ebay. Came with 18 games and cost me just over £90 inclusive of P&P. Seems like a lot of people are selling their PS2s before Christmas, maybe to make way for a PS3 (?). I've always bought consoles as second hand bundles with lots of games (because games can be so expensive new). That way, you can give them a good selection for Christmas and put some games by to bring out for birthdays etc.0

I couldn't flipping believe it!
Put the PS2 in the basket at PLAY.COM (at £69.95) (so with £5 voucher, would work out at £64.95).
Emailed my wife to double check she wasn't about to buy one - and by the time she'd replied an hour later, the price had gone up to the current £89.95.
You'd think they'd do this type of site maintenance overnight.
Could get it at John Lewis for £100 less a £20 Telegraph voucher, so £80... seems to be cheapest.
The Singstar bundles are excellent value (2 mics, extra controller, extra memory) but why that sickly shade of pink??! :rotfl:0
