Any Concept 2 fans?

My all time favourite piece of kit is the concept 2 rower. They're the gold standard and you'll find them all over the world.

I bought one a few years back for £180 which was a nice absolute bargain. Had a broken screen which I repaired and I reckon it's worth around 350 if I tried to sell it now.

It's probably about 20 years old but is solid as a rock.

Any other C2 fans?

I like them, but IMO they are way overpriced.

When I was looking for one secondhand a few years back the prices were just silly, so I bought a used Delta Fitness Airmaster for £50 (collection only on Ebay) instead. The ergonomics aren't quite as good, but it's a well enough built piece of kit for home use.

I doubt it would stand up to commercial gym use for long, but that's not important to me...

That is part of the appel with the Concept 2. I've had a 25 stone person using mine in the past with no issues.

Think Concept has tested upto 35 stone (500lb) :eek:

I love the online community/challenges. You can always compare yourself to others your age/sex for different distances. Great for giving you something to aim for.
