I recently saved nearly 20% on a new system from Mesh.
All that you need to do is view the system that you want online and then add components / customise as required. You then save your quote (just involves adding an email address and password).
I did this but still wasn't sure about making a purchase but when I checked my email the next day I had a message from one of the Mesh sales team offering the £478 system that I had chosen for £450 if I bought it in the next ten days.
I sent a reply saying that it was still above my budget and could they get closer to £400. They emailed back and said they could do £425.
I still wasn't sure so left it a couple of days and got a final message saying Ok you can have it for £399.99 if you buy it before 6pm tonight. I was genuinely still making my mind up but it saved me another £25 and £78 overall!!
Mesh currently have two systems on the PC PRO 'A' list so they make decent machines. I normally build my own PCs but this worked out cheaper than buying the components and I get Windows Vista Home Premium edition thrown in.
Not sure how long they will be doing this as it may just be that they have a pre-Christmas sales slump but if you are thinking of getting a PC for Christmas and you can afford it try a bit of haggling.
Good luck!!

DO NOT TOUCH MESH with a 10 ft bargepole!
just google mesh and complaints and you'll see what i mean
i had nothing but problems with a £1900 system i purchased. Took almost 3 months to eventually get the system ordered (they took the money on day 1)
had countless lies, and about 15 failed delivery attempts. including telling me I WAS CONFUSED and had arranged for delivery another day.
apart from i hadnt. id even called them 3 times earlier the SAME DAY and had it confirmed the system had left the depot by courier and was on its way. then get told at 6pm itd never left n in fact had never been scheduled. it was infact organised for the following friday.. by me allegedly.. apart from i work and had said i could never ever take delivery on any friday...
also bein put on hold for aN HOUR AT A TIME sucks.
hmm anyway google MESH and complaints and you'll see what i mean
overall excellent price.. i mean i got good deal... but was totally not worth the crap and hassle that came along with it.0 -
I'm not suggesting your problem isn't genuine, but googling "company name" + "complaints" will inevitably produce fear inducing results.
In fact I bet you'd be hard pressed to find a positive report on any company via google. Good service is met by silence, bad service is met by noise.0 -
Already aware of problems that some people have experienced with Mesh but personally I have never had a problem. The last system that I bought on behalf of my mother in law arrived on time, worked perfectly and has done for the past 10 months and on the one occasion that I had to call customer services for something minor they responded immediately.
Other Mesh customers that I have spoken to have also been suitably impressed. They are obviously not perfect but the post from real1314 seems to be common sense.July 2018 - Now Mortgage Free0
