Your gas, electricity, car insurance, and internet (especially as you also pay £17 for the landline) costs appear to be high. When was the last time you did a comparison on them to check what the cheapest on the market is? PM me if you need some specific help :-)

Do you pay for 2 TV licences?

For groceries, all I can suggest there is try to shop at Aldi or Lidl if you don't already. It takes time to get used to what they offer, but it cut our grocery bill from about £90-£100 a week down to £70.

    Internet/Phone:
Just pulled up our bill. Actually slightly off in my SOA I'll need to edit that. We get ours from Sky which is £49.99 for the phone line and the broadband. We used to have a cheaper package by the internet kept dropping whenever the kids were home. Wouldn't be a problem except the wife works from home and requires the internet. I'll do some digging!!!

    Electric/Gas:
We are on meters for both and paying off debts on them. They eat through our money it's ridiculous and that's with trying to keep our usage low. Can I still shop around even though we're on meters due to debt?

    Car Insurance:
My wife normally handles that as we pay it monthly. I'll look into and see what we can save there, thanks.

    TV License:
lol looking at it now that appears too high, I'm going to find out now!!!!!

    Coincidence? I think not! :p

Simple answer, yes! Some providers might be iffy, but don't let it stop you. Generally £500 debt is the cut off for switching away.

    Satellite/Cable TV...................... 43
    Internet Services....................... 40

So here's what I have now from Sky:

Good going! Keep it up, I'm sure you'll be able to find another £50 a month at least from some of the other expenses too :T
