removing baby related stains from clothes!

hi
if any body knows it's the wonderful community on here!:p
DS has had a constant cold, and now all my t shirts are covered in snot and dribble that don't seem to shift in the machine. I use fairy non bio tablets. Don't really want to repace lots of tops, so wondered if you had any suggestions!
