My advisor visits me at my home. Would that not work for you?

Many advisers can also do remote advice and never meet it person. email. client portals etc.

And if you dont have anxiety asking strangers on the internet then employing an adviser and using internet for communication should be fine.
Should i be looking elsewhere ?

A question that strangers on an internet forum cannot answer. Its a specialist investment option. Typically one used for a very small niche. It also had different versions in the period it was available and differing terms. So, without proper analysis of the product and version you have vs alternatives based on your needs and situation, you are going to find it hard to get any decent info on it.
