I think it is a bit strange to pick one random loan from 2013 to uphold. .
2012 would now be potentially more than 6 years gone and possibly to long ago now, 2013 brings you under the 6 years doesn't it, the lenders were trying to improve and would have done so defo by 14/15 - these was a selection go to parliament in the Nov of that year 2013 which included Wonga so there was still some uproar about them. The PDL's were particularly bad 2011/into early 2012.
Heck I even have a DVD "What Remains" that was a Sunday night BBC1 drama in the summer of '13 that has payday loans playing in the background as a radio news feature in early scenes episode 1 ! so the troubles were still quite prominent 2013, I remember working for a PPI company this time 5 years ago who were considering this as a the next new market (but ultimately didn't thank goodness).
