How to stop colours running

HI Ya i have new shorts and i know from past experience the colours run so is there anything i can do before the first wash or any other wash to stop the colours running and my clothes fadding?

Spending my time reading how to fix PC's,instead of looking at Facebook.

    To stop the colours running in new clothes, wash them a couple of times in cold water. It helps.

    To stop colours fading, wash inside out and give them an extra rinse to make sure all the soap has been rinsed out or add a little vinegar to the final rinse.

    As well as washing inside out, make sure you dry them inside out on the washing line so the sun doesn't fade them.
