Hi,

I am attempting to locate my income details from 2005/2006, however no longer have my P60 or wage slips and the employer no longer exists either!

Any suggestions please ???

Bank statements? That would show your nett pay...

It is not clear if you are providing evidence to HMRC or someone else?

HMRC should already hold details of your gross pay and tax from 2005/06, this assumes that your employer complied with relevant legislation.

If you want to help HMRC find this information you can provide your NI number, date of birth, full name, former employer's name and address and they should be able to trace relevant pay and tax details from this.

It is unlikely HMRC will hold records back to 2005/06

Even if the employer was still in existence it's unlikely your employer would keep payroll records either going back that far under the new GDPR regulations.
