Evening all..

I and my partner are First time buyers we're using a mortgage broker and have an offer with Nationwide

5th June - Offer accepted, no chain as such (vendor moving in with parents until new house is built)
6th June - Full application made with Nationwide
7th June - Valuation booked for 14th of June
14th June - Valuation took place
18th June - Valuation accepted
19th June - Returned all documents to solicitors with proof of IDs
20th June - requested bank statements
26th June - Mortage offer issued.
29th June - Phoned Solicitors for an update, Draft contracts received and started seaches

Vendor and I ideally want to move around the end of July, the start of the kid's summer holidays. Is this way off or?

I'm not sure how far away we are with legal stuff/solicitors...

I've read that searches could take 3 days or 3 weeks but could someone tell me what the next steps and everything is?

Many thanks for your time and have a great evening.

Only your Solicitors can confirm your timescales but make sure you set the agenda to suit you and don!!!8217;t let them decide when they want to do everything.

Little point in agreeing dates this early. Purchasing a house is like unwinding a ball of string........ no one knows how long it will be. If everyone is proactive and deals with matters promptly then can be relatively quick. Be guided by your solicitor.
