Hi wondering if anyone can shed light on companies offering free appliances when a kitchen is purchased.
I can potentially get oven, hob and extractor worth £1500 what's the catch?
Thanks!

Inducement to buy a kitchen from them. They get Neff appliances far cheaper than you can and then advertise them (not unreasonably) as being worth whatever the normal retail price is.
If you want the appliances, fine - otherwise shop elsewhere and see if you can get better value terms of a cash discount.0 -

Are Neff better than say Bosch then? I understand the likes of Miele are the top of the line. Asking as we are about to purchase a kitchen! Wren kitchens, who we are purchasing from also have something called CDA appliances, but assuming these are a bit naff and budget?0

Neff and Bosch are the same company.
Personally I would be more worried about buying from Wren Kitchens as they dont have the best reputation.
BSH home appliances own Bosch, Siemens, Neff and Gaggenau.I’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Competitions Time, Shopping & Freebies boards, Employment, Jobseeking & Training boards If you need any help on these boards, do let me know. I think with all the big companies there's all kinds of horror stories as people that have bad experiences tend to broadcast them. you don't often hear of the times that it went swimmingly well and the customers are happy with the kitchens. We went to a load of different suppliers, and wren for us in the shop had the best service in the shop, and the build of the units we saw were also the best from what we saw. Wickes and B and Q kitchens for example looked from the showrooms to be hugely inferior. You got to go with your gut don't you? :-)0 -

Absolutely agree,
Most of them use sub contractors and dont have their own workforce and can't offer the whole package ie electrician, plumber, tiler, plasterer etc
I honestly have had a few friends go with Wren, one whose kitchen took 3 months and still isn't finished.
A lot of the carcasses are the same across companies, its all in the door quality.
Maybe its a local thing? In my area they dont have a great name at all.
My friend who is having her kitchen done as we speak by a local company, went to Wren and she said that the units were very inferior and the appliances were all very tinny and unknown brands along with a pushy salesman that said you wont get better ! She is now is having all Neff appliances and a kitchen made for her for the same price which includes plastering, tiling, all electrics etc.
Their is good and bad amongst all of them and its what you feel in your heart.
Your right, go with your gut and enjoy your new kitchen which I am sure will look amazing :jI’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Competitions Time, Shopping & Freebies boards, Employment, Jobseeking & Training boards If you need any help on these boards, do let me know.
