Aldermore Lending Criteria

Interesting one.. Just been on the phone to Aldermore, I wasn't convinced by the guy I was talking to..
I have three defaults going back to 2014, so 4 years old. Satisfied around June 2016. They say that because there has been activity within the last 36 months, I won't fit the Criteria as below.
0 recorded in last 12 months
Max 1 recorded (up to £300) in last 36 months
If this were true then the above criteria doesn't work, as 1 default within 36 months will be classed as activity..
Any thoughts.. ?
I did feel as though I got the work experience person on a Friday afternoon..

I've not made and application at this point, I was attempting to confirm the criteria, it was under the Help to Buy product range if that helps.0

What wasn't making sense was when they said all defaults had to be settled over 36 months ago, yet they allow 1 upto £300 inside 36 months.. I'm sure that make sense to someone. :-)0

Call centre operative is not an underwriter. Nor would know the lenders precise internal criteria.0 -
you need a broker who can match you to a lender"It is prudent when shopping for something important, not to limit yourself to Pound land/Estate Agents"

If it!!!8217;s a Help to Buy case it sounds like miss communication.
Speak to a Mortgage Broker experienced with adverse H2B cases before you.
Have communication issues again
