Just an update on the overdraft, despite a complaint to Lloyds Bank, they are adding daily interest charges again so we are soon going to be over the limit of the overdraft. They amaze me, they know our situation and yet they continue to make it worse. I am complaining to the Ombudsman now.0

Just when you think they're totally incompetent, they surprise you.
This week they have taken to writing us two letters for each balance enquiry, from different addresses. One answers the query (hooray) and the other tells us they can't answer it because of gdpr.0 -

They are unbelievable, the other companies have been so easy to deal with in comparison. The lack of communication and empathy is difficult to take in. My folder of letters to them is growing steadily.0

I am now getting letters about the loan, I know they are computer generated but I am so annoyed at the lack of communication when we have written to them on several occasions. They are a terrible company when it comes to communicating. I sense another complaint being sent in soon if this continues.0

Well just an update, I wrote and complained and sent them copies of my previous letters about the loan. They said they could not uphold the complaint as they never received the letters! I wrote back saying that this was ridiculous and saying why did the departments not communicate with each other. I asked that copies of my letters be passed to the collections department. No reply. Now another letter from recoveries saying we've paid nothing, not been in touch etc... I despair. End of rant and more letter writing to come.0

You may be better off ignoring them altogether from now on, eventually they will default the accounts, and sell them on, i have always found debt purchase companies easier to deal with than some original creditors.
Credit file will be trashed anyway, it just makes life less stressful than playing continuous letter tennis that gets you no-were.

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: This is hilarious!!!0 -
Thanks sourcrates, I took your advice and didn't reply.
I now have a letter this morning from Lloyds saying it is being passed to Westcott and to contact them. Are Westcott ok to deal with? I would still like to keep it all in writing. Would we just write and send the same income and expenditure form to them and just say what we will be paying?
Just to add another, slightly hilarious twist, the last letter I sent chasing stuff has today been returned saying "Addressee gone away"!! I really must have annoyed them as it was the correct address! :rotfl:
I have visions of the black horse galloping into the distance :rotfl:0 -

Unbelievable.
Wescot are easier to deal with than Lloyds but that is setting the bar very low0
