Cheaper version of a Filofax?

Is there such a thing?
I want a large A4 diary that I can make daily notes, on the day in, for work.
I fancied a Filofax as some days a page won’t be enough and I could keep some blank note pages in the back and slip them in when needed.
Apart from the cost, I know they aren’t light and slim. I already have a Filofax A5 and a Filofax note pad (somewhere!).
The covers are great quality, but not particularly light and I carry so much about I want to keep things as light as possible.
Is there such a thing as a copycat cheaper version?
Or maybe I should just buy Filofax insets and stick them in a cheap 4 ring folder ~ will they all be compatible?

You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time but you can never please all of the people all of the time0 -

No, I need paper and pen.
I need an a4 per day and to have the option of extra insets would be nice.0 -
You can try the Collins or the Paperchase brand. For Collins on Amazon it's a "Collins Leadership A4 Week to View 2018 Diary" it costs £7.490
