This one is very interesting. Can it be used for cats?0

Good luck with getting my dogs to use one of those - they go where they want and they're much happier on the tiled kitchen floor!!0

I have one of these gel-filled ones for my cat but she's not interested. She'll walk over it or sit next to it with one paw on it, but she will not sit or lie on it. I've tried covering it with various things as I thought maybe she didn't like the texture, but nope. I have seen bamboo(?) ones online that I might try, as she might like something that's a bit more scratchable.0 -
I leave ice bottles around the garden for my cat - I just freeze bottles of water, then leave them in her favourite sleeping spots, they help keep her cool. She refuses to come indoors when it's hot, and won't sleep on anything other than our beds or a "special" blanket downstairs. We also use the ice bottles in our guinea pigs' pens - as well as keeping them cool they can also lick the ict condensation off the bottles.(although if it's very hot then they stay inside, as being outside in such heat could give them sunstroke.)0

We bought one last year for our dog, she loves it. Usually she sleeps on the bed but because of the heat shes been lying on the floor on hers.0

Our vet recommended a damp towel wrung out well and spread on the floor. Our cats seem to like this to sit on, nice and cool.0
