Terms and Conditions

The Promoter is [Making a Difference Locally Limited (charity number: 1123800, company number: 6502266) whose registered office is at Waldo Way, Normanby Enterprise Park, S!!!!horpe, DN15 9GE. The prize draw is open to all charities who: are registered in the UK; have an annual income of less than £100,000 per annum; operates for the benefit of UK communities with one (or more) of the following purposes: good health and wellbeing; education and employment; good food and nutrition; shelter and security. The competition will run from 23:59 on 22nd June 2018 (the !!!8220;Opening Date!!!8221;) to [11:59pm] on [6th July 2018] (the !!!8220;Closing Date!!!8221;) inclusive. All competition entries must be received by the Promoter by no later than the Closing Date. All competition entries received after the Closing Date will be automatically disqualified. All entries must be submitted via http://www.nisalocally.co.uk/10thbirthdaygiveaway/ and only one entry per charity is permitted. In its entry the charity must demonstrate that is looking for/in need of branding and marketing activity (ie new website, visual annual report, social media account and promotion, or printed and digital marketing collateral) and specify (in no less than 100 words) why it deserves to win the Prize and how winning the Prize will make a difference to its beneficiaries. No purchase is necessary and there is no charge to register for use of the website. The Promoter will not accept: Responsibility for competition entries that are delayed in transit or lost regardless of cause including for example as a result of any equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind; Proof of transmission as proof of receipt of entry to the competition. By submitting a competition entry you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions. The competition entries will be judged by the board of trustees of the Promoter based on all entrants meeting the entry criteria. In entering the competition you confirm that you are eligible to do so and claim the prize. The Promoter may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the competition and that proof that the prize will be used in accordance with these terms and conditions. The Promoter reserves all rights to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the prize competition. The prize is £10,000 available to 10 different charities who will each receive £10,000 and which must be used for marketing purposes. The prize is not negotiable or transferable. In order to claim the prize you must be able to demonstrate, to the Promoter!!!8217;s reasonable satisfaction, that the prize will be used for marketing purposes. The winner of the competition will be announced over the Promoter!!!8217;s social media channels on [26th July 2018] (the !!!8220;Announcement Date!!!8221;). The decision of the Promoter is final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into. The Promoter will contact the winners directly as soon as practicable after the Announcement Date using the contact details provided in the competition entry. The prize will be paid following the first networking event in September 2018. If you do not confirm acceptance of the prize by 9th August your claim will become invalid. [The prize cannot be claimed by a third party on your behalf.] If the winner cannot be contacted or has not claimed their prize within 14 days of the Announcement Date, the Promoter reserves the right to offer the prize to the next eligible entrant. The Promoter does not accept any responsibility if you are not able to take up the prize. As part of claiming the prize you agree to the following: You agree to attend a networking event (to be held in September 2018) at MADL!!!8217;s expense to meet the MADL team and other winners; You agree to be photographed and have your charity!!!8217;s information used as a case study for MADL; You agree to MADL measuring your charity!!!8217;s impact as a result of the £10,000 prize; You agree to attend two sessions with the MADL team and partners across the 10 months (reasonable expenses will be reimbursed). If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the competition. The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel or amend the prize competition where it becomes necessary to do so. These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
