Someone at work bought my a lovely Cath Kidson bag as a gift, I love it but I don't love the colour, has anyone exchanged at KC without a receipt? I've looked on their FAQ on website but it doesn't mention this scenario.
Thanks, Sam

This would be better posted on the Consumer Rights board.
But actually you personally have no consumer rights at all as the contract is between Cath Kidston and the purchaser.
Shops aren't even legally obliged to offer a refund or exchange with a receipt for change of mind, let alone without one - assuming she bought it in store rather than on-line.0
