Hi i need some advice I'm in around 25k of debt and I'm 40. I have a low income full time job and a baby.
I'm my 20s I went daft with credit cards etc and I just buried my head in the sand.
I have a extremely bad credit rating and I have for years.
I do have a mortgage but I'd like to be debt free one day and have a good credit rating for my and my wee babys future.
I don't know to get a trust deed or dmp or anything or where to go can anyone give me some advice plz?

Welcome to the forum
Best place would be to start would be to post a Statement Of Affairs http://www.stoozing.com/calculator/soa.php

Hi Rs1978 and welcome to MSE,
As well as the SOA could you clarify if you are in Scotland or England/ Wales please as the law can vary.
A trust deed in Scotland is a bit like an IVA in England/ Wales. And a debt arrangement scheme is a bit like an English/ Welsh debt management plan (but with more protection). There may be other options as well, but with a property, we will need to consider them carefully to keep your home at the lowest risk.
