Maggi chicken bags

Hi all, I have used one of the Maggi chicken bags tonight, put in three chicken breasts, tasted lovely but I'd rather just cook one breast at a time. Would it be possible to do that with these bags or if I bought separate smaller roasting bags what seasoning could I use for the chicken?

Yes to the first question, you can do whatever you like.
Second question, look in the herbs and spice area in any supermarket and find the one for seasoning chicken. I am sure there is one there, but I never use them so can't tell you the one, but I know there is all manor of seasonings.0 -
You could still use the Maggi seasoning, if one packet is for four breasts, divide the seasoning into four.
I think roasting bags are 8 for £1 in b and m bargains, the Maggi sachets are 50p.
You can make your own seasoning, lots of ideas on the internet. But I would suggest buying maggis and dividing it doesn't work out to be too bad. And you know you like it.0 -
I've never seen the bags, but I've used their seasoned cooking papers which are for individual chicken breasts. They do 3 different flavours, Italian herbs, paprika, and garlic.0

Thanks for your replies, some good ideas which I will go with.0

By the way I have heard that Maggi is full of chemicals and bad for you, is this right?0

Everything is full of chemicals, one way or the other, I wouldn't give it another thought.0

I agree with the above comment, herbs and spices will also have chemicals in them. It surely comes down to your preference. Using a roasting bag may also have a warning somewhere. Bananas are radio active but that doesn't put me off!0

I think that story relates to the problem they had with thier noodles in India where they had I believe a unusually high arsenic content. They were withdrawn and disposed of.The more I live, the more I learn.
