Old job chasing for training fees

No, why should it? They still paid for the course, you still signed a training agreement - why did you not arrange for another assessment? But I'm not seeing that the arrangement was not meet - they paid for the course, and you still have the benefit of that. They didn't agree to pay just for the assessment. If they had, you might have had an argument.Thank you for your reply!
Sorry - I should've been clearer - what I meant was that my employers cancelled my assessment 4 months before I even handed in my notice. I therefore was unable to complete this training before I even started looking for other jobs. I wanted to gain the qualification but the assessment day was not suitable for my employer and so they cancelled. Does this perhaps change things?0
