Does anyone use a tan accelerator?
I don’t use sun beds so it would be just for everyday use, a friend who uses sun beds said to buy one to help me tan (I am pale, I know I have to use spf too) but wanted to know if it actually worked or it was a waste of money.
Thank you in advance

Yes they work very well!! Use caution. I utilized accelerators when I was younger and I have very fair skin. I burn the first few times I go out in the sun but then I can get very dark. I would only recommend these is you have a very strong base tan or you WILL fry yourself. Happy tanning. hope this helps0

Thank you for your reply, I have seen one with a built in sunscreen from boots so I might try that one, but will get a high factor (30), fingers crossed I don!!!8217;t burn0

I use Ecotan. Its a gel and you should use it in the weeks leading up to your holiday. I use it after I come home from holiday as it seems to extend the life of your tan.0

You should be fine as long as you have a nice base tan. Good Luck!!0

DO you mean a tan accelerator as in something with fake tan in it or something that helps prep your skin for the sun.
If the latter they are perfect for someone with fair skin, couple of links below:

I just though of a healthier alternative than a tan accelerator. I have been getting spray tans done professionally. Have you ever tried this?
This won't prevent you from burning when in the sun but it gives a really nice glow to a dark tan that lasts about 5 days for me. The place I go for my spray tan uses an organic tanning solution from norvell. They have a great page that gives you step by step how to prep your skin and what to expect. here is the link https://pilorumsalonandspa.com/spa-services-niles/professional-airbrush-spray-tan-niles/0
