    Right. So what "paperwork" did he fill out? Did he get any advice about how to fill it out?
  • AP1 and he followed the YouTube video that land registry have about filling out paperwork. Apart from that no other advice sought.

    My son had to sign a AP1 form at the solicitors last thurs to remove his name from a joint deed. She also said he was required to complete a form to confirm that he was not in debt.

    It was explained that this was a requirement to prevent people from avoiding debt repayment and he would be required to complete a form to prove his identity but because he signed at the solicitors office and provided his passport this would not be required.
