This time last year I was in an awful lot of pain. I also had a friend who was in tremendous neck pain from arthritis. She read about the anti-inflammatory properties of turmeric and started drinking one cup of turmeric tea a day. I saw her some time later and the difference was amazing.
I was suffering with hip pain to the point it was keeping me awake at night and I was going upstairs on all fours. Whilst not a great believer in these sort of things, I decided to give it a go. After four days I could notice a real difference and three months later I woke up for the first time in five years pain free. I mentioned it to another friend who suffered with neck pain and it worked for her. My Dad tried it but it didn't do anything for him.
We use Pukka Turmeric Gold teabags. They cost around £2.50 for 40 at Boots, Holland & Barratt, Tesco, Sainsbury etc. I recently bought some capsules from Holland and Barratt. If I feel a bit achey I take a capsule instead of the teabag as there is more turmeric in a capsule than a teabag. I still have it water as it helps keep my fluid intake up. I just crack open the capsule into a mug.
Hope it works for you if you try it.
ETA - I also used to suffer with acid reflux and I would say this is 90% better.0 -
I've taken the tablets , no noticeable difference unlike Glucasamin tablets which do make a differenceEx forum ambassador

Have a look at Golden Paste- a paste made from turmeric, virgin olive oil or cold pressed coconut oil and freshly ground pepper.
I tis very easy to make and normally more effective then pills.

There are experienced people on that group who can advise if there is any interaction with other medicines.0 -
I do buy tumeric and ginger in fresh form, slice them and brew them in hot water. Then drink. You can put a little bit of honey too if you like.
It helps with inflammation definitely.ally.0 -
