Hi all please help, I have a combi boiler with a Siemens's controller and I pressed the boost buttons this morning for hot water for an hour (I'd also pressed the heating by mistake) so I turned the heating one off but noticed my radiators were red hot half an hour later. I then turned the heating & hot water off manually on the controller & made sure my thermostat was turned right down yet still my boiler was fired up & the only way to turn it off was to turn the boiler off. Left it off for a while & then turned the controller on reset it and manually off on controller. Switched the boiler back on & it fired up again! Wth is going on with it? So annoyed, any ideas anyone please?

When it fires up, is it still heating the radiators? How do you know it's the heating that the boiler is firIn up for now? You need to let the radiators cool, then reset everything and then if it fires up as soon as you turn it on, monitor the radiators. If they get warm, it could be a number of things. A faulty controller or a valve that's stuck open somewhere?0
