PPI Reclaim Dorothy Perkins Card. Please help

I have a dorothy perkins store card, i took out PPI, but it was not explained to me fully by the sales girl and she just said that if i see something in a sale a few weeks later i can reclaim the difference! I now know that's not true. I ended up with a CCJ because i was made redundant and couldn't afford the repayments. I didn't know i could claim for unemployment. For the PPI I think I was charged one pound for every ten pound spent, or it could have been for every 100 pound spent, i can't remember now, but it add's up anyways - perhaps someone could tell me please?

I have spoken to GE Money to find out the date i initially took the card out and i then asked for an address to write to (didn't mention I was claiming). He said he only has a telephone number and i've since rung the number and it's the one for the solicitors who have my account now (cos of the CCJ which I have had since 11/09/2006 and is still ongoing).

Who do i write to about reclaiming? The solicitors, or GE Money? Plus, do you think I have a good case or I am wasting my time?
