Apple Upgrade Barclays Partner Finance

Hi

I received an email from Barclays Partner Finance stating that my loan for the Apple Upgrade Program has now been settled and I should cancel my Diet Debits, which I did.

I then received a pho e call from BPF (apparently) stating that I did not make the last payment. I said that this was incorrect because I have confirmation from them that the loan was settled. This made them go away.

I received another phone call today and was told that the emails were sent out incorrectly and that the loan still had one payment outstanding. They said that this has happened to lots of customers. Although after a bit of searching on the web, I cannot find any other examples of this.

What legal right does Barclays have for pursuing this after previously confirming that my loan was settled? Or, is this a scam?

Please can you help.

Harry

Have you checked if 20 payments were made according to your bank statement?

The one obvious conclusion is that it's not a scam.
