Options around mortgages

Can anyone offer any suggestions please

I currently co own property with DD and DSIL. 50% mine and they each have 25% share

This was done 15 years ago when they moved in with me in my large property. Helped them get on property ladder and meant I was not living on my own

House is worth about 250k and mtg is 80k (we borrowed 40k) a number of years ago to extend my 'granny flat' there is 10 years left

I do not and have never contibuted to the mortgage payments or utility bills and my income was never taken into consideration with nationwide mortgage as they both earn in excess of 40k each

I retired a number of years ago and turn 68 shortly.

The rates have gone up so DD contacted nationwide about a further 10k borrowing for new bathroom and kitchen and to change deal (was on 5 year fixed) and was told that she could not make any changes to the mortgage as it was in more than 2 names and it went past the age of 75 for me. It turns out the other 2 or 3 banks she has been in contact won't look at either due to 3 names and my age.

I suggested taking my name off as it will be my DD inheritance anyway but was told by family friend still can't do as I have been on the mortgage and therefore have an interest in the property. (She works for santander)

I feel we are stuck with the only alternative to sell which no one wants to do.

Can the £10k of finance not be raised elsewhere? Given they have a joint income in excess of 80k.

Nothing to stop you switching product with the NW.
