Just read on the BBC that card payments have now overtaken cash as the most popular way of paying. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-44496513
Which do you prefer? Me personally, I prefer the debit card, I hate carrying cash around now.

I put absolutely everything on my BA Amex card and then pay it off every month so I get the most Airmiles. I only ever use my debit card if Amex isn't taken so very rarely.I’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Competitions Time, Shopping & Freebies boards, Employment, Jobseeking & Training boards If you need any help on these boards, do let me know. Card, it helps me categorise and thus control my spending, though I still feel silly using it for smaller purchases. That might be another discussion point? what is the smallest amount you're comfortable using your card for? My cut-off is £10

Definitely card. It means I keep a control over how much I spend and where!! I use a Tesco credit card and keep the points for days out. As for minimum, I'm not sure - I always check they're happy to take a card for small amounts!! I don't think I've used it for under £1.Starting a new debt free journeyStarting Debt: £5,250Current Debt: £4,995.50Amount Paid: £254.50 Percentage Paid: 4.84%Emergency Fund: £3500
