facials in northern ireland

I would like to take my mum for a facial for her birthday but funds are low, does anyone know of any reasonable beauty salons in Northern Ireland, the ones on Belfast are all around £35!!

£35 quid isnt bad, if you take into consideration a plasterer would cost twice that...........if you get my drift.....
Nice to see you want to treat your mum, perhaps some nice facial creams etc from The Body shop would go down equally as well..................

Mind you, your mum might take offence,

"wat do ye mean facial...yer sain im ugly or somthin" Hope she has a nice birthday...

What about one of training institutes that run beautician courses - I'm told they do freebies and cheapies for willing 'guinea pigs' [no smart comments please!] Not as glam as a salon, but worth a go.

Bangor Tech and Castlereagh Tech both have training salons. As a previous poster has said, they are not as glam as a salon but the students are always looking for 'clients' and IMHO they are always a little bit more eager to please than a staff in a salon who are doing the same facial day in day out.

Ask what the students are working on that week and don't rule out other treats like manicures and pedicures. Also Indian Head Massage is a lovely treat, far better that a facial IMHO.
