I had my daith pierced and have not had a migraine sinceFriends are angels who lift us to our feet when our wings have trouble remembering how to fly.0 -
If you can afford it, fine. But I rather think it is a placebo. It works because you think it will.
And it works on animals and babies because YOU think it will.0 -

Google it. It is well documented.
One theory is that the parent / owner believes it will work and tends to over-report improvements, and under-report lack of change, or deterioration.
Another is that because they believe it will work, they are more relaxed, happier and less tense around the infant / animal, which makes the latter more relaxed and happy, and that aids recovery.0 -
Here is a link to a webpage that is very well written. It is bias in favor of acupuncture but it's a good read with a lot of good info. https://pilorumsalonandspa.com/spa-services-niles/acupuncture-natural-self-healing-therapy-niles/0

I’d recommend giving it a try. I’ve had acupuncture and it was great. I’d tried nearly everything and I couldn’t believe what a difference it made.
It can be expensive but your health is worth it.0 -
Quackery!
If it was clinically and cost-effective, the NHS would pay.
I believe the NHS does pay in some doctors practices.
Add that the NHS does its darndest imo to get out paying for anything at all ever if it can possibly help it - and I think we can discount whether one particular practice in one particular area does or doesnt pay for it.0
