Hargreaves Lansdown Account Registration

Is anybody else having an issue registering an account online with Hargreaves Lansdown (HL)?
My wife has moved a DC pension over to a SIPP with them and has received a client number and pin number but when she tries to register it does not recognise the information.
We have contacted HL numerous times to be told it is a computer issue on their side due to an upgrade. They promised it would be fixed by Tuesday this week but it is still not working and they have no idea when it will be available.
This has been ongoing since the 31st of May and her transferred cash is just sitting there ready to be invested.
Their lack of progress is a worry.
Thanks
D.

Must be frustrating but no doubt they will sort it out (sounds like it is associated with the new log on procedures they have been advising about). If you have lost out financially by the problem you should obviously claim that loss and for the worry ask for reduced ongoing charges (eg 2.5% instead of 4.5%).0

I expect if you phone them and explain the situation, they should allow you to invest over the phone if you push them, but at online rates.
TBH, I'm surprised they didn't just offer you this when you contacted them.0 -
They have informed me that we can still invest the money by using their phone service and they will charge it as an online trade so any loss is due to us not wanting to do this.
I prefer the online service as I can look through everything first, probably due to a generation thing with easy access to information.
It's just annoying that they cannot get their act together especially considering they have a reasonably high platform charge.0 -

Think that decimal point is in the wrong place. HL charges 0.45% on first £250,000 then 0.25% up to £1,000,000. 0.1% on amounts over that.
Good luck with trying to negotiate the platform fee. I would be very interested to hear if anyone has managed to achieve that. I think there is every chance that a little polite assertiveness can succeed in reducing the telephone trading charge .
I noticed yesterday that the new login process had been implemented. Hopefully, this will resolve OP's problem. There have been zero system glitches in my experience with HL so this is unusual for them.0
