Options
I have naturally curly hair. Its fine but a lot of it. Its the texture of straight hair its not wirey like usually curly hair is.

Looking for something that will define the curls without setting it hard like most mousses yet gives hold

Expensive, but Kevin Murphy does two Easy Rider and Killer Curls.

He has his own site and Cult Beauty sell some of his ranges.

I know what you mean about hair textue, I have thick wirey hair with a natural kink.

I like Aussie mousse for defined curls

Have you tried the curly girl method? It!!!8217;s really helpful for defining curls. It!!!8217;s way of only using certain products and systems for curly hair and it really helps. If you google it!!!8217;s there and there!!!8217;s Facebook groups with lots of help and advice
  • I've got very curly hair and use this, it doesn't leave my hair rock hard and crunchy like a lot of products do.

Though it doesn't make my hair soft, something that does help the curls hold well has been the Bumble and Bumble Surf range, it doesn't make my hair crispy at all, but I get used to the really soft products I normally leave in and this is not the same- but if it were it would be unlikely a curl would hold for more than a few minutes.

Try Aquage curl defining cream or Aquage sea salt texturizing spray. I have used both and they both will enhance your curls without making it look greasy. This is a professional level product so it is in the mid price range.

The best thing to do is go into a local salon that carries the product(s) you want to try. Ask them permission to try the products on your hair. The odds are that they will say yes. This will cost you nothing and you can find which one works best for you.
