Can any kind folk advised how I can get information as to year a house was built?

Deeds will not tell you when a house was built.0

Every deed pack that I have come across, contains Land Registry info and all planning application/consent for that land.
Of course if you have a mortgage on the property, that info will normally be stored by a Solicitor or Bank and you will have to ask them.
Alternatively, your local Planning Office will have info, although I am not sure how far this goes back.
Asking a neighbour would be the easiest perhaps.0
