Boiler help in Edinburgh ...

Our boiler has just packed in, it turns on but doesn't ignite. We have recently moved to this flat and it is about 15 years old now anyway. We had wanted to move it and replace it anyway because it is currently in the middle of a bedroom wall and even if we can't move it to another room, it would be good to have it better placed and out of the way. However, now the need to do this is a bit more urgent!

Can anyone recommend someone who I could get a quote from to replace and move the boiler. Have got one person I can go to, but would like to get a few quotes to make sure I get a reasonable price.

I can highly recommend a local plumber and heating engineer. After a couple of bad experiences with another one who never turned up after arranging to come on 3 occasions!

We found Gordon Bird. His is a one-man business.We have found him to be reliable, knowledgeable and his charges seem reasonable. I know he is usually very busy but hopefully he will be able to give you a quote. His phone number is 01875 813500 Mobile 07802 813805.
