Bright House Redress

Hi there this is my first post. Not really sure if I am in the right place. I was a customer of Bright House for several years, I paid £625 for a tablet and then could not keep up payments so I returned it. I still had another £800 to pay and I was told the amount would be cancelled and that would be it I was pretty annoyed with myself. At the end of March I had a phone call from the Redress department saying I could claim some money back due to a scheme or a decision. I said I wanted to apply. I got a letter telling me my case was being looked at. More than 3 weeks ago I got a letter saying sorry for the delay and they hope to get back to me with a decision in 2 weeks. It said in the letter if I wanted to contact the ombudsman I could. The ombudsman says complaints should be initally dealt with in 8 weeks maximum This is way beyond that every time I ring get told the same thing no information as yet Im getting annoyed seriously considering taking it to the ombudsman

There is not even any guarantee that you will receive any redress at all.
In your position, I'd cease bring 'annoyed" and simply adopt some patience.0
