I got an email telling me I'd won a mag daily a week ago and I'd get my prize within 28 days.

I don't know why but today I decided to check my account details on another mag and realised I hadn't updated my name (I got married 2 years ago!) but more importantly I hadn't updated my address (we moved a year ago).

I've emailed them telling them I'm an idiot and if they could send it to the correct address.

What do you think the odds are that they will help me out, I'm hoping that as it was only a week ago that they won't have shipped it yet, fingers crossed!

Go back to your old address to see if is been delivered there

Yeah I'd see if you can contact the current home owners and if it's not there yet, get them to give you a call when it arrives? That's if they've already sent it out anyway :eek:

In my experience of mag dailies it takes longer than 28 days so I highly doubt it's been sent out within a week. If you don't get a reply to your email, phone them or email the general contact address as I have had issues before. There seems to be a high turnover of staff (or so they say) as I've had a few people not reply or sort stuff out and it's always because so-and-so left (they don't seem to believe in setting up an autoreply, forwarding or checking email accounts etc.).

I done the exact same thing with my address on Daily mags, I emailed them and they did help. If I can remember correctly I had to email them with proof of I.D

They replied within a couple of hours to say they'd look into if its been sent out so fingers crossed. Funnily enough I won another comp today with them but this was an email prize !!!55357;!!!56836;
