Anyone had any recent timescales remortgaging to first direct? Our Signed declaration uploaded 23/5 - they had online valuation for property during the extensive phonecall prior to that but haven’t received offer yet. Any ideas of time likely to take?

I’m just going through it now. We uploaded our documents last week but had a call several days later on Friday afternoon stating documents where missing, we definitely uploaded them all. The ones they needed where at my wife’s work on her system so we could only upload them this morning. I called up around 10:30am, waited on hold for 50 minutes to be told we would need to call up after 3pm to check. Called up at 18:00 and waited on hold again for 50 minutes to be told they could take until 9pm for them to be uploaded. I’ve spent over 5 hours on the phone to them so far and we have not even had our interview.
Definitely not as slick as the rest of the First Direct group.0 -
quick update - we received a call from Enact on Friday 15th June before we received our mortgage offer Saturday 16th.So although a bit of a wait - all seems fine and very happy with fixing the 5yr rate as they have already increased since our application.0

We’re still waiting for ours to go through so we will unfortunately be hit with the rate rise.0
