I suspect it's because they are seeking to encourage you to switch because the DB scheme is expected to cost them an arm and a leg. And worse, the costs are so uncertain that it might cost them an eye, an ear, and a kidney as well. They just hope that enough of their staff are so short-sighted as to take the bait.Free the dunston one next time too.0 -
I guess the only consideration is that this is the 3rd pension change in the 11 years I've worked here, I doubt DB is going to last much longer.
Reading your posts, I'm still clueless about the accrual and revaluation rates of the CARE scheme. If they are good, then so what if the DB section closes for good in a few years time...?0
