TSB Mortgage Switch

Hi All,
I really want to switch from the variable at TSB to a fixed rate, but I haven't been able to do so with all the problems they have had recently. Does anyone know if their systems are up and running again for mortgage switching? I can't find the link to do so online.

Best give them a call to find out. I am sure that if you can switch to a fixed deal then they will be able to help.

We've just contacted them about remortgaging (existing customers) and they say they can't do it this month and maybe not next month...

they have promised to refund us any extra payments we incur while we hover about on their standard rate. Though that promise would require their systems to work properly wouldn't it...

I am led to believe they have started to offer exit fee refunds to those who switch away to another lender too...

UPDATE:

Went to see my local TSB branch, 1 month on from my last post.

Short answer is, they still can't offer remortgages to existing customers for the next couple of months...

They must have really shafted their IT system to get to this state

UPDATE 2:

Finally managed to remortgage with TSB a couple of weeks ago, and the first payment came out yesterday

Still waiting for the ~£140 refund they promised because we had to sit on their variable rate for 2 months, but I'll give them a couple of weeks
