Ok, 1st day in November and I'm off to a good start. Made £5.99 on HMV by using a 15% discount code and going through Quidco, also made 26p on Quidco.
Is discount off shopping actually counted? I wouldn't say the £5.99 is you making money as you would have spent it if you didn't have the HMV code? Now a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0 -
Well had a cracking day to start:
2 hours overtime = £16 (after tax)
1 survey = £1.10
Quidco = £1.60
Total day one = £18.70

And we're off...! First day and I've sold some old bedroom furniture. I got the deposit on 30/10, so added that to October challenge, but got another £45 today!! I've also just been accepted to work for AQA so will have a go at a few questions tonight. Feeling really positive about this and am hoping to do as well as last month (£359).:jMake £10 a day in January 2014 - £39.68 / £3100

We leave to to each person to decide what is counted because although this is a challenge its no a competition against each other its just a big motivation thing. I would count discounts as you would have spent the money anyway and if you have managed to hunt down a money off code off something you were going to get anyway then you have saved money, in my eyes its like quidco but instant. But each to their own. As long as we are making or saving money for debt,s xmas etc then we are all winners. (Cheesy I know but it works).
Remebered today that it was Ehallett (Emily) who did this thread first last year so its her idea I pinched.
Ok so day 1; I have had an ok day today used a 5p off per litre voucher andsaved £1.50 for the pot, used a 20% off voucher in ELC so save £5.50 on my godson and nephews pressies for xmas, so nealry day one complete. Need to hunt down some mystery shopping and sell some ebay stuff!!!!!! .........Again
Will be back tomo with my 2p update ( or an amount similar  )
Keep us upto date on how your getting on everyone

Well I am off to an unexpected good start - had a friend round for some beauty treatments so I have £20 todayDon't get strung out by the way I look,
Don't judge a book by it's cover0 -
Not a great start- due to some emotional upheaval i didn't manage to get things on ebay for half price listing day, but on the positive side my sister has given me her huge change jar and said that if i can count it, i can have it!
So:
2.00 - Change counted so far
23p - clicks0 -
Not a bad start, did a couple of clicks on quidco and topcashback plus signed up to Virgin casino (dep. £5) for the £10 cash back (although only counted £5 as I had to deposit £5). Plus had a couple of surveys available, so all in all £7.11 for today :T .
Also thanks to this thread, I got motivated to shove a few things on ebay, so hopefully in 10 days I'll be a bit better off!0 -
End of day one and my totals are
Mystery Shopping £55
Extra Work £125
Gift from relative £20
= £200
Target for month £465But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0
