Wahey I made it! Only just by the skin of my teeth and including all the £2 coins I have saved this month but still, really pleased as this was my first challenge. Looking forward to the December challenge now, good luck!

    Hi all,

I haven't been posting because after a successful first attempt at this challenge last month, I haven't been doing too well this month. I had lowered the challenge to £5 a day coz my in laws are visiting us for two months and I haven't had as much time to do mystery shops and the like. But I haven't even made it to £150. My husband and I together have managed only £108.52. But to look on the bright side, that's better than nothing and our holiday fund *is* growing - albeit slowly. So congratulations to everyone who has made their goal and congratulations to everyone who hasn't as well! Onwards!

I can't be bothered to work it out properly (sorry!) but my total stands at around £700! I have done a lot of overtime, and overtime on overtime which has given me most of the extra money - I am worn out but quite happy :D Other than the work I have made £50 on quidco, sold £60 worth of stuff and other bits and bobs which add up!

Bring on the December challenge... not sure I will do as well as this month, although I am waiting for £75 to track on Quidco which would be a nice start

Thanks Batgirl for the excellent thread
  • Congratulations to everyone for meeting their own personal targets :j I just on my way over to the December thread. I will be chuffed if I can do half as well as you all have.
