I seem to be getting the periods of not doing anything towards this challenge!

Not sure how much I have made over the weekend, I seemed to sell Amazon items straight after I put them on! But I managed to spend £50 yesterday on petrol for the week, Hairspray on DVD, some Vicks First Defence as I cannot have more time off placement and eating out with some girls on my course. D'oh. Feeling SO bad about it now.

I have posted an Access to Learning Fund form today, which will hopefully fetch me money. Because I have been making more money I have been spending it more freely, and now I have the last £10 or so of my overdraft in the bank. It is making me feel really stressed and thinking that my attempts were too little too late. Plus my uni workload is getting almost impossible (At placement 9-5 everyday, all day lectures on Monday plus assignments and reading every week) and I feel so ill. Anyway, END OF MY MOAN!

When I get home tonight I plan to parcel up my Amazon things, get something on eBay that I have been meaning to put on since the beginning of this challenge. I am also going to talk to my friends regarding the Spice Girls tickets I bought, because no one has paid me back (At £66 a ticket) and I don't feel like going to it anymore as it will cost a hotel room, travel and general "being in London expenses". So I want to see if I can sell my tickets or get a refund - need to check the Terms and Conditions really. I am also going to tackle more AQA tonight and actually meet my targets.

Everyone is doing so well, you are all such an inspiration when I feel bad about it.

  • Emmaglet - hope you're ok - I know it's well stressful when you're at uni
I hate it when people don't pay me back for stuff so feel your pain - I've decided to stop being the one who pays because even if it's only a few quid, there's always someone who will dump you in it.
Ask your mates for the cash and if they don't give it to you quick, return the tickets (or gumtree/ebay them - you'll probably make a mint as I imagine they sold out pretty fast?)
And then you'll be £££ up for the challenge!
Anyway hope you feel a bit better getting it all off your chest - that's what we're all here for!

Just a quick question. How to you log your QuidCo, PigsBack credit, when you click or when it's actually tracked on the site? Suppose it does not matter but do you tend to find your figures add up if you just put down what you think you've made before it's tracked....?

I've been recording as soon as I've done them. I find it more motivating that way as it keeps the momentum going - rather than waiting for tracking or even a payout before counting the pennies! :D

Batgirl, where do you find your competitions? Are they website competitions, magazine competitions, on one of those specific competitions websites like get me a ticket, or do you just stuble across them? I never win anything in competitions, but maybe if I entered a few more...

    /quote]

Please don't go near get me a ticket or my offers, I never hear anyone win from these sites and you get so much junk mail. The best place for comps is the this site on the competitions thread, make sure you press thanks on each comp you entere that way you don't enter twice and get disqualified.

Good luck and let me know when you get you first win
